Pylayeva Olga Anatolyevna
In 1998, she graduated from the Pediatric faculty of the Russian State Medical University (RSMU) with honors degree.
In 1998 – 2000, she was a resident at the department of neurological disorders of the same faculty.
Then there were postgraduate studies at the same department (2000-2003).
In 2003-2010, she worked at the department of neurological disorders, RSMU, where she held the position of assistant.
In 2010-2011, she was an assistant at the department of neurology and epileptology, RSMU.
From 2011 till present she works as a neurologist, an assistant of professor Mukhin at the Institute of Child Neurology and Epilepsy (ICNE).
She continues her work on master's thesis entitled "Adverse effects of antiepileptic drugs and their management ". She published monograph and more than 30 scientific articles in Russia and abroad on this topic.
She is an author of more than 50 printed works (in neurology, epileptology, psychiatry and narcology), the co-author of three monographs.
She received certificates of professional development as "epileptologist" and "EEG specialist".
She translated from English to Russian more than 10 books on neurology and psychiatry, including a full translation of the book “Peter Duus’ topical diagnosis in neurology” published by M. Baehr and M. Frotscher (2009).
From 2003 till present she works as the responsible secretary of the “Bulletin of Epileptology”. She works as a scientific editor of the Russian Journal of Child Neurology.
She is an editor of the websites www.epileptologist.ru, www.epilepsia365.ru, and http://epileptologhelp.ru.
She is responsible for the patients’ correspondence.
