GLUKHOVA Larisa Yurjevna

In 1993 graduated with honors from pediatric faculty of Pirogov Medical University in a pediatrics. Was engaged in scientific student circle under the leadership of professor Mukhin.

Passed Ph.D. defense on a subject: "Parasomnia at children and their differential diagnosis with epileptic attacks in sleep".

Teaches neurology, epileptology, electroencephalography and bases of video EEG monitoring.

In 1996 mastered modern methods of registration, the analysis and diagnostic interpretation of EEG.

Was trained in the center of professor Hanz Holthausen in Vogtareuth.

In 1997 one of the first in Russia together with the staff of Child psychiatric hospital No. 6 (with direct participation of professors Petrukhin and Mukhin) introduced a method of video EEG monitoring in diagnosis of epilepsy. Today has one of the vast experiences in Russia in the system of video EEG monitoring. Is the leading expert on video EEG, consulting EEG data in all Russia (including the on-line mode).

Is the lecturer and the participant of various Russian and international symposiums, conferences, congresses on various aspects of neurology and epileptology. The main direction of scientific and practical work – diagnostics and treatment of epilepsy, sleep disorders at children, headaches, tics, attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity, clinical electroencephalography. Doctor Glukhova is the author of over 50 publications in the scientific press, the coauthor of the monograph "Epilepsy. The atlas of electro-clinical diagnostics", the coauthor and author of teaching aid manuals for doctors.
